Amy Grant: another vintage act who is bringing herself back with a current sound and working with today’s exciting producers and DJs for an album of remixes by the likes of Chris Cox and David Aude.

Amy Grant – Baby Baby (12″ Heart In Motion Mix)

This news is from VVN

Amy Grant’s career has moved through multiple phases over the last 37 years, from the storming of the Christian music world in the 70’s and 80’s to her pop stardom in the 90’s and return to Christian in the most recent years. She holds the record on the Christian Albums chart with sixteen number 1’s and 14 of her 15 studio albums (including the secular ones) have gone to either 1 or 2.

Nothing in any of that career, though, would prepare her fans for her next project, In Motion: The Remixes, out August 19 on Sparrow Records. Billboard broke the news on Monday afternoon, saying that her classic tracks have been “amped up and reimagined.”

Grant told Billboard “I never could have anticipated that these songs from an earlier chapter in my life could be filled with such renewed energy and fresh production. am humbled and honored that these amazingly talented producers have leant their gifts to my songs. They have given me reason to want to get up and dance again!”
